The exclamation is just a warning that the worker is missing some mandatory fields. Depending on the settings in the project and which country you are in, you will see this if the bank account details including the account name are missing or the government tax number (TFN/NI/ID etc depending on country).
It will also alert you in countries that pay superannuation if those details are missing.
